Cakes and Britany Spears concert!

This last week was my niece, Blayke's, birthday. She turned 3 and has been looking forward to her birthday ever since Drake had his in December. I have a photo paper that has a ton of different cakes on it, and every time she comes over she will look at the paper for forever! And she will tell you exactly which cake she wants for her and ask everyone else which on they want! She's so cute! So I have planned for a while to do her cake. I wanted to do a bigger one to practice doing more wedding cake like cakes. I also wanted to try out how it was to do a fake tier. This girl is all about pink and princess!!! So I made it as pink as I could and added bling for her. The bottom tier is fake.

Then, Friday was the Britany Spears concert! Dr. Welch is the best Dr. ever and bought us tickets! And they were actually pretty awesome seats! We had a blast and even though there were some parts that were cheesy or she changed her out fit way too many times, I still made that night so much fun! Thanx for dancing with me Lindsey!! haha

And this cake I made this weekend for Brad's little sister Brandis, whom I love more than anything!!!! She is so awesome and we have so much fun together! She has asked me for forever to make this cake for her and I pretended like I didn't have time at all (which I almost didn't...thanx to Dana for stepping in to help relieve some stress when my mom was gone!! haha) She was so surprised when I brought it in to her!! Happy birthday girl!

This design I used from April who is the most amazing cake lady ever!! She is going on Food Network someday, I know it!! I'm sure most of you already look at her blog every day but click on my link to the side for her blog! Thanx April!!!! You're my idol!!!!

Easter Pageant/CAKE

So this weekend, me and some girls from work went to the Easter Pageant to watch our other friend/co-worker be the angle. She was so cute and did so good! Watching the Easter Pageant, really helped me remember the meaning of Easter and why we celebrate it. Even though I spent Easter all alone this year cause my parents decided they didn't love me anymore.....I had a blast!! I love having the house to myself and doing whatever I want! Or just having the quietness of my own kitchen so that I could make a cake too...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BROTHER!!!

My brother Mike, has been obsessed with the Dallas Cowboys since I can remember. So I made him a birthday cake for it. He's one of my favorite brothers! When I was born till i was like 7 he would always sing me the song "My Little Buttercup". Then... his daughter was born and he hasn't sung it to me since! :( haha

Spring Break

WARNING! LONG POST!

Ok, where to even start! So this last week has been spring break for Brad and I with school and work, and let me tell you how relaxing it was! Brad left the beginning of spring break for SJ to hunt and work on the ranch while I stayed here and SHOPPED of course! Also received my first real professional massage. :) Brad came home in the middle of the week and I surprised him with a new shirt and some socks that you see here! (except not the socks!) I missed him!!

We are trying to venture out and do more fun things together other then dinner and a movie all the time. We went and played goofy golf and had so much fun! We are both very competitive and had a serious but fun game. And yes...I kicked his butt! Yup..I WON!!

Then, Friday, we went on a picnic for lunch! Thanx to Ned's and a few treats I picked up, we had a fun relaxing lunch. The plan was to eat and then play catch, volleyball, or Frisbee, then hit up the batting cadges...but Arizona is freaking hot and we decided to save that for a cooler time in the morning! haha

He apparently has very sensitive eyes and had a really hard time taking a fun picture looking up! haha We really tried this pictured like 20 times! LOL his eyes kept burning and watering...it was so funny!

I got a new job about a month ago at a different pediatric dental office just cause it was more money and more hours! And it was well worth the change. I love my new office. I work with Kristen now and we stay busy but know how to have fun. Dr. Welch has season tickets to the suns game and was so kind as to give them to us!

Brad was so kind as to buy me flowers for my new flower pot! Isn't he the best?! ;) I wasn't so sure about my pot when I got it back, but I think it's ok once the flowers are in it! Now hopfully I'll continue to get flowers so I have a reason to use it!

Ok, so I'm a horriable blogger now!! But this is what has been going on this last week! My friend Erica is getting married on Saturday and we threw her a bridal shower! (well allison mostly did...Thanx girl!!) I made the cake of course! What do you think?

And this weekend me, Kristen, and Brandis went to As You Wish and painted pottery! It was actually super fun! If you're anything like my sister you will think it's gay to do that on a saturday night...but seriously, nothing was going on, and we were sick of doing the same ol stupic stuff! haha I made a big vase for the flowers I don't get. Kristen made a plate for her house someday, and Brandis also made a vase for David...haha This is what they look like before they get fired! I'm so excited to see what mine will look like! I did black and red!

This was another Overson cake! haha Brett is Brad's cousin and this was his birthday cake! He is all about everything camo and literally goes hunting every other weekend. :) Happy birthday Brett! I'm so glad you loved it!

Suns game/baby shower cake!

For Christmas, I got Brad Suns tickets! He absolutely loved it! We sat really close too! The game was on the 9th and we played the Dallas Mavericks! WE KILLED THEM! Whoop whoop! Before the game we ate at a restaurant called Cooperstown. Delicious! I would have posted sooner, but I just barley got pictures from it! :) But we had such a fun night!

Ok, this cake, I made this weekend. It was for Brad's sister in law D'Coda. Her baby is due next month and her shower was on Saturday. I went up to SJ's to do it and I was sooooo nervous, but it actually turned out super cute! And chocolate fondant is delicious!! Its made from real chocolate!!! yummm! And yes those are antlers....You can't do a redneck cake without having some kind of design that shows it! haha

HE'S BAAAAAAAACK!!!!!

Ok, so I know it's been FOREVER since I last posted, but life was just CRAZY! Brad is freaking home! I still can't believe it! The day he came home was so weird! Everything felt like a dream. It didn't hit me that he was really coming home until the night before, and it was like all of a sudden! So weird! I wanted to put the video of him at the airport but I couldn't get it to upload to my blog. (so mad!) But here we are at the airport waiting for him to walk off the plane! Dana (his mom) and I were freaking out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was ready to throw up, waiting for him to shake my hand, and HE HUGGED ME! Some of you may consider that bad, but I could care less what you think!

Kristen loves me for putting this one up! But here we are crying! I was doing just fine till she walked up to me balling! Then I lost it! She was there taking pictures for us! Thanx girl! You're the best!!!

I went up to SJ on Christmas after celebrating with my family and the day after Christmas, IT SNOWED SO MUCH! Thank goodness I went up when I did. It was freezing there! 2 degrees at night!! Brrrrr!!!

Brad and his dad made us a home made sled! It was so much fun. Freaking cold, but fun! This is Brandis and I ready to go!

My worker man! Him and his dad spent all day chopping that wood and bringing it back for the fire! That's a lot of wood....

Christmas break was a lot of fun. Thanx to the Overson's for letting me stay with them all week and putting up with me! You guys are the best and I love you guys! Thanx for all you did for me! I wish I could post videos of boxing on the wii but my dumb computer won't let me! Hope you forgive me! ;)

We all drove home on New Years Eve so we could spend it in Mesa. Brandis drove home with me and we jammed out the whole way home and screamed karaoke! Oh how I love her!

SJ's has these Fina Burritos that are absolutely amazing! I literally crave them! Weird I know... But you just can't go there without getting 1. I mean 2! or 3...or 4... :) Don't judge me! I was on vacation! haha I hit up the gym first thing after break! :)
